AI Product Development
Are you ready for the post-code era?
AI-native product development from Very Good Ventures, the digital product agency for what’s next in software.
A 30-minute call about what you’re building.
AI has changed the math of product development.
Shipping software used to be slow and expensive because writing code was laborious. Now AI writes it in minutes, and anyone can ship. What separates a product from slop is judgment.
The judgment we bring to every product
-
01Judgment is knowing
What to build
Before anything gets built, we work through who it’s for, what it has to do, and what can wait. It’s how Divine went from a vibe-coded prototype to production in 90 days.
-
02Judgment is knowing
How it should feel
Our designers check every screen against how people will use it, like a sitter opening PetPlaybook with a leash in one hand. If it feels off, it doesn’t ship.
-
03Judgment is knowing
When it’s right
VGV’s engineering standards are written into the checks every build has to pass, in any stack. It’s how Trackhouse’s live telemetry stream processed 25 thousand messages a second.
Our judgment comes from a team with decades of experience in design, architecture and technology.

Fractional team
$10K / month
For you when
You need advice and support more than new features.
We’ll give you
Our team’s time for advice and support when you need it. Bug fixes and updates that keep your app running. Unicoder to manage your codebase and analyze your product’s performance.
-
Feature team
$25K / month
For you when
You want a feature or two shipped every month.
We’ll give you
Enough of our team’s time to design and ship a feature or two each month. We pick them with you at the start of the month. Everything in the fractional team comes with it.
-
Product team
From $50K / month
For you when
You need a product team that does it all.
We’ll give you
As much of our team’s time as your product needs. We size and price it to how complex the work is and how fast you need it.
Every launch includes 30 days of support and Unicoder access. We’re SOC 2 Type II compliant, and we’re happy to sign a mutual NDA before the first call.

Start the conversationA 30-minute call about what you’re building.
01 If AI writes the code, what am I paying you for?
Writing code used to be slow and laborious, so most of a budget went to just getting the product built. Design and polish were usually the first things cut. Great UX was a luxury for the teams with the biggest budgets. Now that AI makes building fast and affordable, that money can go to what sets your product apart. You’re paying for an expert multidisciplinary team that spends it wisely. Together we work out what’s worth building, and we ship a polished experience made for your customers.
02 Can’t we just do this ourselves with AI?
You can get a long way on your own, and we’d encourage you to try. Most teams can build a working prototype now. Getting from there to something customers rely on every day is the harder part. We’ve done that many times, so we know which problems matter and which ones can wait.
03 What if you think we should build something different?
We’ll tell you, and we’ll tell you early. It’s your product, and the final call is always yours. We just think you deserve an honest opinion before you spend money on a feature. It’s usually a short conversation, and it often saves a lot of building.
04 Won’t it look like every other AI-built app?
It won’t, because our designers are involved from the first screen. AI tends to fill in the blanks with the most common answer it knows. That’s why so many AI-built apps feel the same. We make those choices on purpose, for the people who’ll use your product. If something feels off, we fix it before it ships.
05 How do you know it’s good if nobody reads every line?
Our engineers’ standards are built into checks that every build has to pass. Unicoder reviews every pull request against those standards and flags anything that falls short. Our engineers decide what good looks like, and they keep updating it as they learn.
06 What happens if we cancel?
You keep everything. The code, the repo, and the IP are yours from the first commit. Every launch includes 30 days of support and Unicoder access, so the handoff is smooth. If you’d like, Unicoder can stay on after that to keep checking new work against the same standards.
07 How do we know if we’re ready to build this way?
It mostly comes down to two things. How comfortable are you with AI writing your code? And once the product launches, how do you plan to own it? Some teams want their engineers working in the code. Others keep working with Unicoder holding the standards, the way we built it. Both can work, and each one leads to a different plan. A 30-minute call is usually enough to work out which fits you.
